The Crocodile river runs through many reservoirs and dams which hold some of the biggest carp in South Africa. First stop is the picturesque Hartbeespoort Dam about 30min drive from Pretoria which is a very large Dam surrounded by the Magalies Mountains. It offers large numbers of carp up to 20kg. The 2nd stop is down stream at Roodekoppies Dam which is home to some big Crocs and Big Carp up to 22kg. This venue offers truly wild carp and some scaley Mirrors now and then.
